PageSpeed is a handy (Free) Chrome Extension that, in a nutshell, does a quick diagnosis of any web page you throw at it. Once an evaluation is performed, PageSpeed will make suggestions on how to improve performance.
It is integrated into the Developer’s Tools panel and with the click of a button, one can get a snapshot of a web page’s overall pageload performance. PageSpeed detects numerous issues such as broken links, bad requests, image optimization issues, css minification and more. What sets it apart from other tools is its display of a “percentage reduction in pageload speed” if the issue is potentially addressed.
